Former Kansas University tight end Derek Fine was placed on injured reserve Wednesday by the Buffalo Bills after being diagnosed with a torn knee meniscus. The 6-foot-3, 247-pound Fine appeared in eight games, making six starts and catching nine passes for 64 yards.
