Lawrence man reports burglary, theft of CDs

A 32-year-old Lawrence man reported Tuesday an aggravated burglary and theft from the 2100 block of Quail Creek Drive. According to Lawrence Police Sgt. Susan Hadl, the residence was left unlocked, allowing the suspect to enter and take items between 5:30 a.m and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Among the things stolen were 50 CDs, iPods and various other personal belongings.
The incident was listed as an aggravated burglary because two roommates were home, though not aware of the situation, when it occurred.
The estimated value of the items lost was more than $1,000.
