The Mailbox, 3115 W. Sixth St., reported Wednesday a burglary and theft of items from the business. According to police reports, the incident occurred between 6:50 p.m. Tuesday and 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, when cash and various items, including $600 in stamps, were stolen. Police reports estimate the total loss in items and damages was more than $8,000.
