The Perry Yacht Club in Meriden caught fire early Tuesday morning, fire officials said.

Five fire departments battled the blaze for more than two hours, which was contained to the club’s main building that houses the kitchen and bathrooms. No boats were caught up in the blaze.

Fire officials said they had no damage estimate and that the state fire marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the fire.
