A man accused of firing shots into a crowd of people outside a bar near the Kansas University campus pleaded guilty to three counts of felony aggravated assault on Thursday, prosecutors said.
Police said Joseph Muhammad fired shots March 26 outside the Hawk, near 14th and Ohio streets. Two KU students and a student from the University of Chicago were injured.
Muhammad is scheduled to be sentenced at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 18, said Cheryl Wright, spokeswoman for Douglas County District Attorney Charles Branson.

This sentencing could be a lot of time even with the plea deal. If I remember correctly he has at least 2 person felonies prior to this and I believe he might have more person felonies in his juvenile history. One count of aggravated assault with 3 or more person felonies carries a presumptive sentence of 34-30 months.

the rope is too humane. put him in a three-foot-square cage with five hungry pit-bulls, and slather him up with pork chops and peanut butter.
