A 20-year-old Lawrence man reported Sunday the auto burglary and theft of items valued at more than $1,000. According to police reports, a set of golf clubs and other items were taken from a vehicle near Walden Court. The burglary and theft reportedly occurred about 1 a.m. Sunday.

If anyone bothered to look at the last 100 years on FEMA maps one would clearly see those wet lands did not exist until the 1950's-----when there was a flood in 1951.
