Butterfly plants are still available for members of the public after last weekend’s Monarch Watch Spring Open House.

Anyone interested in a plant may stop by Foley Hall on Kansas University’s West Campus from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. this week. A donation of $3 to $5 is requested per plant, depending on the species.

Proceeds benefit Monarch Watch, an educational outreach program dedicated to monarch studies and conservation.

Some species of plants are sold out — an updated listing of available plants with pictures is available on the program’s Web page at monarchwatch.org/openhouse.
