Lawrence police are seeking a woman suspected of stabbing two people Friday night at Set ’em Up Jacks, 1800 E. 23rd St.

The incident occurred at 10:42 p.m. The suspect stabbed two people after a verbal altercation turned into a physical fight, according to Lawrence police Sgt. Michael McLaren.

The suspect left the scene driving northbound on Harper Street in a white Chevrolet passenger car.

One victim, a 42-year-old Colorado woman, sustained a puncture wound to the right side of her chest. She was attended to by medics at the scene but declined treatment or transport to Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

The second victim, a 58-year-old Lawrence woman, received a laceration on her shin while trying to break up the fight.
