Law enforcement report

• A 21-year-old Lawrence woman reported a theft from her vehicle at 2:54 a.m. Wednesday. Among items stolen was a wallet valued at $500. She reported a total of $903 in damaged and lost property. The incident occurred on Monday morning shortly after midnight in the 900 block of Vermont Street.

• Criminal damage to property was reported at a Capitol Federal Savings ATM at 1045 Vt. The machine, which was damaged at approximately 11:30 p.m. Monday, suffered about $6,500 in damage, according to police reports.

• Burglary and criminal damage to property occurred at Delta Upsilon fraternity, 1025 Emery Road, at approximately 6 p.m. Friday night. Police reports indicate that two wooden window frames, valued at $1,200, were damaged with a knife, but no items were reported as stolen.

Fire calls

The Overbrook Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 21 E. 650 Road Wednesday night.

The structure, which was approximately 10 miles southwest of Baldwin City, had reportedly been vacant for five years and didn’t have electricity or propane running to it. Fire crews from various area agencies responded to the call and were still battling its heat at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
