Law enforcement report
A 38-year-old Lawrence man was arrested Thursday evening for aggravated battery and criminal damage. Lawrence Memorial Hospital notified police about a woman who had shown up with knife wounds to the face and arm. Lawrence police were able to locate the male suspect believed to be involved in the altercation in the 2400 block of Ousdahl Road. Officers had also received reports of a verbal disturbance in that area. After the arrest was made around 10 p.m., the suspect kicked the window out of a police cruiser, resulting in the criminal damage charge.
