Make sure you’re telling all of Lawrence about the bargains you find with the hashtag #SWSale. LJWorld.com and LawrenceMarketplace.com will be tweeting bargains all day long as well. You can follow those tweets — plus any tweet with the hashtag #SWSale — via the LJWorld.com homepage, or by following @LJWorld and @LJWMarketplace on Twitter.
Users who tweet with the #SWSale hashtag will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Downtown Lawrence gift certificate, to be awarded by LawrenceMarketplace.com. In addition, shoppers who stop by the Marketplace booth in front of U.S. Bank at Ninth and Massachusetts streets during the sale will be entered into hourly prize drawings.
Business owners also are encouraged to tweet their best bargains using the #SWSale tag.
