A 38-year-old Lawrence man was arrested Wednesday morning for leaving the scene of an injury accident.

According to accident reports, the man was driving a 1991 Chevy Caprice southbound on Haskell Avenue when he drove through a stop sign at the intersection of 15th and Haskell, colliding with a 1990 Honda Accord. The driver of the Honda, a 28-year-old Lawrence man, suffered a laceration to the side of his head and was treated by medical personnel at the scene.

Officers stopped the suspect’s vehicle in the 2000 block of Haskell.

The suspect was booked at 1:29 a.m. Wednesday.
