Law enforcement report

• Police are investigating the reported rape of a 22-year-old woman in east Lawrence. The woman said an acquaintance raped her about 11 p.m. Sunday in her home, police said. The victim said the man came to her home with a friend, according to the police report.

Condition report

The driver involved in a rollover accident Thursday night west of Lawrence was listed in satisfactory condition Friday at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka.

Douglas County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Sgt. Steve Lewis said Brian Root, 24, of rural Lecompton, was ejected from his car in the 1900 section of East 175 Road.

Lewis said Root’s Honda civic went airborne and flipped over after striking a driveway.

The accident happened just before 7 p.m. Thursday.
