Injury accidents

A 43-year-old Waverly woman is in serious condition after a Tuesday morning car accident on Interstate 35 in Franklin County.

Laura A. Schultz was driving a 2004 Ford pickup southbound on I-35, near mile marker 168.2, when she lost control on the ice-covered roadway shortly before noon. Her vehicle rolled into the center median of the road.

She was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

• Assist person, no obvious injuries, 10:08 a.m. Monday, 2415 Mass.

• Arcing, shorted electrical lines, 12:27 p.m. Monday, 27th and Iowa streets.

• Assist person, no obvious injuries, 4:16 p.m. Monday, 1707 W. 21st St.
