Law enforcement report

• A 19-year-old Lawrence woman was arrested on charges of aggravated battery early Thursday morning.

Lawrence Police Sgt. Michael McLaren said the woman was arguing with a 17-year-old Lawrence girl in the 1500 block of 25th Court. The woman then punched the 17-year-old in the face.

McLaren said the girl suffered a facial laceration from the punch and transported herself to the hospital after the incident.

The incident occurred at 12:35 a.m. Thursday. The 19-year-old was booked into jail at 1:47 a.m. on $500 bond.

• A 21-year-old Lawrence woman was battered Thursday morning at Walgreens, 3421 W. Sixth St. Police reports indicate that the incident occurred at 1:40 a.m. Thursday.
