Law Enforcement report
• A 15-year-old boy was robbed at gunpoint in Lecompton on Tuesday night. Douglas County Sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Steve Lewis said deputies were dispatched at 8:01 p.m. to the 600 block of Whitfield Street in front of Lecompton Elementary School. The 15-year-old, who lives in the area, said that a man in his mid-20s approached him with a pistol and demanded his wallet.
Lewis said that deputies are still looking for the suspect, who is described as a 6-foot, 160-pound white man with a goatee.
• Lawrence police arrested a 27-year-old transient man at 11:35 p.m. Monday on accusations of assault, criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct. He was arrested at the Lawrence Community Shelter, 214 W. 10th St. Bond was set at $300.
• A 64-year-old Lawrence man reported a battery in the 1000 block of Delaware Street. The incident occurred at 3:25 p.m. Monday.
