KU up to No. 16 in both polls out today

With back-to-back victories over Big 12 South foes Oklahoma State and Baylor, the Jayhawks climbed to No. 16 in the most recent ESPN/USA Today poll and the Associated Press poll.

This is the Jayhawks' second week back in the polls after a lengthy absence. Their opponent in tonight's Big Monday game, Missouri, is ranked at No. 19 in the ESPN rankings and No. 17 in the AP poll.

There are three Big 12 teams in the polls, the other being Oklahoma at No. 2. Texas is in the others receiving votes category in both polls, while Kansas State is receiving votes in the AP poll.
