Kansas remains atop AP Top 25 with nearly all the first place votes

Five Big 12 teams, including both from the state of Kansas, are in this week’s AP Top 25, out Monday afternoon.

Kansas remains in first — where it’s been since the seasons started, and is joined by Texas at No. 2, Texas Tech at No. 16, Kansas State at No. 17 and Texas A&M at No. 23.

The top 25 teams in The Associated Press’ college basketball poll is below, with first-place votes in parentheses, records through Dec. 13, total points based on 25 points for a first-place vote through one point for a 25th-place vote and previous ranking.
