Lawrence man treated for possible injuries after Sunday rollover accident

A 33-year-old Lawrence man was treated by paramedics Sunday afternoon after a single-vehicle accident on Kansas Highway 10 east of Lawrence.

According to a Kansas Highway Patrol crash log, the man was driving a Buick LeSabre westbound on K-10 when he fell asleep at the wheel. He drove the vehicle onto the south shoulder and overcorrected, causing the car to enter the ditch north of the road and roll over.

The man was treated by emergency medical personnel at the scene and was not transported to the hospital. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

The accident occurred approximately seven miles east of Lawrence.
