Prosecutors charged a Lawrence woman with two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a 4-year-old child Friday, court documents said.

The 27-year-old suspect, who police said is related to the victim, was arrested Thursday afternoon.

Lawrence police said the crimes happened in a southeast Lawrence neighborhood. According to prosecutors, the crimes occurred between March 15 and Tuesday.

The suspect had her first appearance Friday in Douglas County District Court. She’s being held in jail on $150,000 bond and is scheduled to return to court Tuesday, a spokeswoman for District Attorney Charles Branson said.
