Lawrence High’s girls track team placed third Friday in the Topeka Relays, and LHS finished fifth in the boys meet.

Taking titles for the LHS boys were Roy Wedge in the 3,200, Chebon Dawes in the discus and Will Pendleton in the pole vault. Placing first for the Lion girls were Whitney Demby in the 100 hurdles, TaMiya Green in the 300 hurdles and the 4×400 relay team of Emily Davidson, Alexis Scheibler, Shelby Clark and Asia Thomas-Kimble.
