Prairie Village ? Lawrence High swept the doubles competition en route to a 6-3 tennis victory over Shawnee Mission East on Tuesday at the Lancers’ courts.

Elizabeth Simons and Jordan Payne won at No. 1; Jaimie Jarrett and Julia Harris won at No. 2; and Morgan Manger and Brittany Long won at No. 3.

Also, Simons, Payne and Manger won singles matches at No. 2, 3 and 4 respectively.

“We have a three-dual win streak now,” LHS coach Steve Hudson said. “I like our doubles combinations. I went from being very concerned a week ago about our doubles to pretty excited today. We switched the teams up and chemistry seems to have improved. Jordan has been playing better of late and Morgan has been very consistent as well.”

The Lions will travel to Leavenworth for a 3 p.m. dual today.
