A Dec. 10 jury trial was scheduled this week in the case of a Lawrence man charged with three felony sex charges involving a 6-year-old.

Prosecutors accuse the 29-year-old man of engaging in sodomy with the child and lewd fondling or touching. The man is charged with two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child and one count of aggravated criminal sodomy for incidents that allegedly occurred between June 2007 and October 2007 in Douglas County. The child would have been 5 or 6 years old at the time.

The Journal-World generally does not name suspects in sex crimes unless they are convicted.

Yep Ill bet the perv gets 60 days in jail and 96 months probation. That seems to be the norm for these creeps in Douglas County even if they admit their guilt. Its a plea the DA'a office loves to take. They are as bad as the pervs Because they are actually slapping them on the hands and letting them go home and live a normal life while their victims are going to have to live with it the rest of theirs.
