Burglaries and thefts reported:

¢ A 47-year-old Olathe man reported more than $2,000 of items stolen from the 1700 block of Massachusetts Street on Sept. 14. Among the missing items were an HP Pavilion computer, valued at $1,600, a Verizon Wireless card, valued at $250, a phone charger and a Bluetooth adapter.

¢ A 38-year-old Lawrence woman reported the engine block of a 1998 Chevrolet Camaro was stolen from the 2100 block of Louisiana Street. It was stolen between 9 a.m. and 9:05 a.m. on Sept. 8 and is valued at $4,000.

¢ Two vehicles were stolen from Bossier Nissan, 2300 W. 29th Terrace, between Aug. 8 and Sept. 17. The platinum gray Nissan Muranos are valued at $68,860.

¢ A 32 year-old Baldwin City woman reported the theft of a white 1996 Chrysler on Sept. 15 from the 2500 block of Redbud Lane. A ladies wallet, which included a Social Security card, was also missing.

¢ A black 2007 Parker trailer, valued at $1,383, was reported stolen from Aqua Sprinkler Systems on the 3900 block of Bellflower Street. An orange King Kutter box blade was also reported missing; it was valued at $325.

¢ A 47-year-old Lawrence woman reported the theft of a gold 2002 Ford Taurus, valued at $5,500, and $3,000 cash, from the 700 block of Iowa Street. The incident took place overnight on Sept. 11.

¢ Smoke or odor removal, 11:55 a.m. Thursday, 2429 Iowa.

¢ Smoke detector activation, 12:36 a.m. Friday, 3918 Pennycress Court.

¢ Dumpster or other outdoor fire, 2:08 a.m. Friday, 1421 Ky.
