Olathe ? The Lawrence High boys soccer team lost, 2-1, to No. 5 Olathe North on Thursday.

The Lions (2-3) trailed 2-0 at halftime but cut the gap to one in the second half on a penalty kick by Will Burg.

Lions coach Matt Anderson credited the LHS defense, particularly Matthias Reiber, for settling down in the second half.

The Lions will play at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Blue Valley West.
