Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ An employee of Dr. Kevin Lenahan Optometrists and Associates, 935 Iowa, reported several doors at the business were damaged, and 100 pairs of various sunglasses and glasses were stolen, along with $368 in cash. The total estimated loss is $11,838. The incident occurred between Saturday and Monday.

¢ A Car Quest Auto Parts manager reported the metal frame of the business’s front door and two cash register doors were damaged. The incident occurred between 1:15 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday at the business, 1830 W. Sixth St. The damage estimate is $1,200.

¢ An employee of Wiklund, Peterson, Krische and Van Horn Dental reported a metal door frame was damaged at the business, 2210 Yale Road, and $240 cash and Orascoptic laser glasses valued at $1,295 were stolen. The incident occurred between midnight Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday. The glasses were recovered Monday.

¢ A 45-year-old Leawood man reported camera equipment was stolen Tuesday from a 2005 Toyota Prius in the 1300 block of East 902 Road. Items reported stolen include two 35-millimeter camera lenses, a camera flash unit and a lens carrier. The front windshield, rear passenger door and rear passenger window were reported damaged. The estimated loss is $7,208.

¢ A 26-year-old Kansas City, Mo., man reported the rear window, roof and trunk of a 2000 Audi were criminally damaged Thursday in the 900 block of Iowa Street. The damage estimate is $2,350.
