Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 45-year-old Lawrence man reported a golf bag, clubs and balls were stolen from a vehicle between Aug. 30 and Sunday in the 1300 block of Valley Lane. The estimated loss is $2,520.

¢ A 22-year-old Lawrence man reported two laptop computers, two insulin pens and an iPod were among several items stolen between Aug. 14 and Aug. 15 in the 1000 block of Emery Road. The estimated loss is $2,809.

Injury Accidents

¢ A 25-year-old woman was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital with her 2-year-old daughter Wednesday following a one-vehicle accident. According to a Kansas Highway Patrol report, Brittney Amanda Green was driving a 2000 Ford Explorer south on U.S. Highway 59 when she tried to avoid several vehicles stopped in front of her, entered a ditch and rolled the car on its top. The child didn’t require medical attention. Green was in good condition, according to a hospital official Wednesday night.
