Big 12 basketball players predict the conference champion

At the 2008 Big 12 Media Day in Oklahoma City, players from around the conference weighed in on which teams they liked, other than their own, to win the Big 12.

The conference looks to be up for grabs this year, and that fact was illustrated by the wide range of picks:

Matt Lawrence (of Missouri) picked Kansas.

DeMarre Carroll (of Missouri) picked Oklahoma.

Leo Lyons (of Missouri) picked Missouri.

Jacob Pullen (of Kansas State) picked Baylor.

Bryan Petersen (of Iowa State) picked Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma or Baylor.

Kevin Rogers (of Baylor) was undecided.

Jermyl Jackson-Wilson (of Colorado) was undecided.

Damion James (of Texas) picked Oklahoma or Kansas.
