Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence police are investigating a report that a 31-year-old Lawrence man illegally touched a 9-year-old girl at a residence in North Lawrence between January and March 2008. The incident was reported April 22, 2008, according to a police report. The suspect and victim are known to each other, the report states, and the investigation is ongoing.

¢ Lawrence police cited a man for indecent exposure May 4 after a 45-year-old Lawrence woman reported she observed the man in a vehicle next to her was touching himself inappropriately in public. The incident occurred about 8 p.m. in the Kohl’s parking lot, 3240 Iowa.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ An employee of the Kansas Turnpike Authority reported criminal damage and theft occurred at the turnpike building at 100 McDonald Drive between May 9 and Monday. Part of the building, a vending machine in the building and the window of a Ford E350 on the business property were reportedly damaged. Items stolen include a Motorola mobile phone, heatgun and Fluke Model 23 digital multimeter. The total estimated loss is $2,660.
