Topeka ? Lawrence High’s soccer season ended with a 1-0, double-overtime loss to Washburn Rural on Thursday in the second round of the Class 6A playoffs.

“I really wanted to win this one in regulation,” LHS goalkeeper Emma Lumpe said. “That was our best chance. But we stuck with them and really gave them a run for their money.”
