Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence police are investigating a report that a 28-year-old Lawrence man forced a 23-year-old Lawrence woman back into his residence when she tried to leave, battered her and attempted to rape her. The incident occurred at 4 p.m. Monday at an east Lawrence residence. The victim and suspect are known to each other, according to a report. The report has been turned over to the district attorney’s office for review.

¢ Lawrence police are investigating illegal voluntary sexual relations between a 19-year-old Lawrence man and a 16-year-old Lawrence girl. According to a report, the girl was 14 when the relations began. The man and the girl live in the same home in North Lawrence.

¢ Police are investigating a report that a 13-year-old Lawrence girl was forced to have sexual relations with a male Lawrence juvenile at an unknown location on Monday. According to a report, police were called to Lawrence Memorial Hospital on Tuesday.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 19-year-old Fredericksburg, Va., man; a 21-year-old Harrisburg, Va., man and a 20-year-old Charlottesville, Va., man were victims of a nearly $25,000 auto burglary and theft Friday. Items reported stolen include a $10,000 Rolex watch, a Macbook Pro laptop and men’s clothes. The incident occurred in the 2600 block of Compton Square Street.

¢ A 20-year-old Lawrence man reported two Fender electric guitars stolen from the 1100 block of Louisiana Street Friday. Estimated loss is $1,550.

¢ A 21-year-old Lawrence man reported a silver 1996 Acura Integra valued at $4,000 stolen between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 4 a.m. Thursday in the 900 block of Emery Road.
