Law enforcement report

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 22-year-old Lawrence man reported that items valued at $1,580 were stolen, including a Nintendo Wii system and remote and several video games. The theft occurred Saturday in the 2000 block of Heatherwood Drive.

¢ An employee of Crandon and Crandon Eyewear, 1019 Mass., reported $1,200 Gucci sunglasses and $600 Prada sunglasses were stolen from the business Tuesday.

¢ A Lawrence parking employee reported a Duncan double meter and pole valued at $1,000 stolen from the 100 block of East 10th Street on May 1.

¢ A 24-year-old Lawrence woman reported a 2007 Hyundai Sonata was damaged in the 2500 block of Montana Street on Wednesday. The damage is estimated to be $1,000.

¢ Motor vehicle accident, 12:54 p.m. Wednesday, 1020 E. 23rd St.

¢ Motor vehicle accident, 1:58 p.m. Wednesday, Massachusetts and West 13th streets.

Was Jake Deckert ever arrested for the hit and run of Tom Crum? I haven't seen any new articles about this very sad accident.
