EDMOND, OKLA. ? Lawrence High’s baseball team lost a close game, 3-2, against Santa Fe (Okla.) Monday night in the Edmond Festival.

Santa Fe is one of the top high school baseball programs in Oklahoma, according to LHS coach Brad Stoll.

Aaron Rea went 2-for-5 with a pair of RBIs for the Lions, who dropped to 0-2.

Joe Kornbrust pitched seven strong innings and allowed an earned run. He struck out five. Tanner Kilmer relieved Kornbrust and pitched three innings for LHS.

Lawrence will resume play in the Edmond Festival at noon today against Edmond Memorial.
