Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 76-year-old Overland Park man told Ottawa police a prostitute stole some blank checks from him. The man said he discovered the theft after he paid the 39-year-old woman to have sex with him in an Ottawa hotel. The incident occurred sometime in February. Police are investigating and no arrests have been made.
