Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 56-year-old Carlsbad, N.M., man on Sunday reported the theft of about $2,788 in cash. The incident occurred between noon and 11 p.m. Saturday in Lawrence.

Injury accidents

¢ A Kansas University student was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries Monday after being struck by a passenger car on the KU campus, said Joe Hoelscher, Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical division chief. The incident occurred about 3 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Naismith Drive and Sunnyside Avenue.
