Executive to take helm at Ottawa University

The chief executive officer of Enterprise Financial Services Corp. will be the 21st president of Ottawa University, the school announced Monday.

Kevin C. Eichner, a 1973 Ottawa graduate, will assume the presidency July 1. He will succeed Fred B. Zook, the interim president since August.

“Kevin Eichner will serve Ottawa University well with his extensive background in strategic planning, organizational development, finance, marketing and operations,” said Patti Wolf, Ottawa Board of Trustees chairwoman.

Eichner has been a member of the Ottawa board since 1982 and is a past chairman.

Eichner has an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

“Ottawa University is in my blood, and its mission is in my heart,” Eichner said. “I have been very blessed in my life and am deeply honored to now be able to dedicate the remainder of my career to advancing this university.”
