Law enforcement report
¢ A 43-year-old Lawrence man was booked into the Douglas County Jail Friday on suspicion of burglary and arson. No other information was available late Friday.
¢ Lawrence police were conducting a routine check about 1 a.m. Friday at Cadillac Ranch, 2515 West Sixth St., when they were approached by a 25-year-old Lawrence woman who reported that a white or Hispanic man grabbed her arm and attempted to place his hand on her mouth. According to a police report, the woman was able to free herself and contact officers at the bar. The suspect fled west from the bar on foot. He was last seen wearing a dark T-shirt and blue jeans.
¢ Lawrence police were contacted by a 17-year-old Lawrence boy who reported that he fell asleep while driving in the 1500 block of Massachusetts Street. His vehicle left the roadway and struck a residence at 1520 Mass. No injuries were reported, according to police. The driver was cited for inattentive driving and leaving the scene of an accident.

Maybe had the 25 year old been wearing clothing instead of a mini skirt and tube top that wouldn't have happened. I was woken up at 130 am by an officer pounding on my door screaming to open up and then he asked me if I heard a scream. I am tired of being bothered for stupid young people who illegally park on my street, screw the wrong guy then call rape.

cooking fire seems to imply that something in or on the stove oven caught fire. I would say frying pan with oil and to much heat.

The 17 yr old calls the police and admits to the accident and they give him a ticket for leaving the scene? That is wrong, he came forward and did the right thing give him a break.

If you fall asleep on Mass. street you should lose your license for a century.I'm sure shirinish is just getting tired of the silly bar patron's pissing on his lawn.
