Law enforcement report

¢ A 43-year-old Lawrence man was booked into the Douglas County Jail Friday on suspicion of burglary and arson. No other information was available late Friday.

¢ Lawrence police were conducting a routine check about 1 a.m. Friday at Cadillac Ranch, 2515 West Sixth St., when they were approached by a 25-year-old Lawrence woman who reported that a white or Hispanic man grabbed her arm and attempted to place his hand on her mouth. According to a police report, the woman was able to free herself and contact officers at the bar. The suspect fled west from the bar on foot. He was last seen wearing a dark T-shirt and blue jeans.

¢ Lawrence police were contacted by a 17-year-old Lawrence boy who reported that he fell asleep while driving in the 1500 block of Massachusetts Street. His vehicle left the roadway and struck a residence at 1520 Mass. No injuries were reported, according to police. The driver was cited for inattentive driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
