Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence police are investigating a report that an Easton man illegally touched a 24-year-old Lawrence woman about 2 a.m. April 8 in the 400 block of Maple Street. The victim reported that she took the suspect to his car, where he touched her and then damaged her car when she told him to get out of the vehicle. Damage to the vehicle is estimated at $900. The incident was reported on June 24. According to police, the victim declined prosecution of the sexual battery.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 20-year-old Lawrence woman reported $30,000 worth of miscellaneous artwork was criminally damaged and 10 clear glass vases were stolen between May 21 and May 24 from the 1300 block of West 24th Street. The estimated loss is $31,200.
