Two football players from Bowie High in Arlington, Texas on Friday committed to the Kansas University program, according to reports from Rivals.com.

They are: Dexter Linton, a 6-foot, 180-pound safety and Christian Matthews, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound quarterback.

Matthews is Rivals.com’s No. 30 ranked dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2009

Linton had offers from Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma State, Louisville and Wisconsin.
