Lawrence firefighters are investigating the cause of a fire at 2904 Santa Fe Lane near Holcom Park in south Lawrence.

Nine units reported to the scene at 11:32 a.m. today where smoke was visible. The fire was extinguished within 30 minutes. No one was inside the rental home at the time of the fire.

Firefighters don’t have damage estimates yet, but said they wouldn’t be significant because the fire was contained to a small portion of the home.
