Burglaries and thefts reported
¢ Lawrence police responded to a reported disturbance with weapons about 10:50 p.m. in the 1600 block of Haskell Avenue.
¢ A 56-year-old Lawrence woman reported a convertible top damaged in the 2000 block of East 24th Terrace between Tuesday and Wednesday. The damage estimate is $3,000.
¢ A Cottin’s Coast to Coast Hardware employee reported the roof and ceiling of the business at 1832 Mass. was damaged between Tuesday and Wednesday, $510 in U.S. currency and numerous items such as a Milwaukee Sawzall and Senco Products Framing Nailer were stolen. The estimated loss is $6,963.
¢ A 22-year-old Lawrence woman reported a Dell Inspiron laptop computer worth $1,500 was stolen from the 4100 block of West 24th Place between July 8 and Monday.
¢ A Premier Auto Co. employee reported a 2005 silver Chrysler Sebring valued at $9,000 was stolen July 5 from the business at 2332 Haskell Ave.
Condition report
¢ The Baldwin City woman who was flown Tuesday to Kansas University Hospital after a traffic accident on North 150 Road has been identified as Suzi Gottstein, 63.
She was listed in stable condition Wednesday at the hospital.
The accident happened shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday when her minivan, headed west on North 150 Road, ran into the back of a dump truck that was also headed west.
