Annual tea to discuss breast cancer

Lawrence Memorial Hospital is hosting the 10th annual Betsy Beisecker Memorial Tea from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday to raise awareness about breast cancer.
Lisa Covington, breast cancer survivor and activist, is the featured speaker. Door prizes and a hat contest will take place. Everyone is encouraged to wear a hat. Refreshments will be available.
The event is in the atrium at the hospital, 325 Maine. It will be free for the first time this year, but tickets will be required for admission.
Tickets are available at the hospital gift shop, oncology center or the breast center at LMH South, 3500 Clinton Place; Health Care Access, 1920 Moodie Road; and The Etc. Shop, 928 Mass.
