Burglaries, thefts

On June 16, a 65-year-old woman reported jewelry and other items worth $43,500 stolen from a residence on the 1200 block of West 28th Court. A gold engagement ring valued at $10,000 and an antique Rolex watch valued at $5,000 were among the items reported stolen. Police reports released Saturday indicate that four items, including a silver charm bracelet and a walnut jewelry box, both valued at $5,000, and a silverware set and 43 silver serving pieces, both valued at $1,000, were recovered. In all, 86 pieces of jewelry and silverware were reported stolen.
