Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence police are investigating a report that a 28-year-old Lawrence man and 23-year-old Lawrence woman had illegal relations with a 6-year-old girl between June and October of 2001 at a west Lawrence location. The investigation is ongoing, and no further details were available Monday.

Injury accident

¢ A Douglas County employee sustained nonlife-threatening injuries on a work site at County Road 12 and County Road 1055 Monday afternoon, County Public Works Director Keith Browning said. Crews were involved in a project to install an entrance pipe, Browning said. A Bobcat loader ran over the employee’s leg, he said. The employee was taken to the emergency room for X-rays and to assess the extent of the injury, Browning said.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 36-year-old Lawrence woman on Thursday reported the theft of more than $3,000 in electronic equipment and other items. The incident occurred between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of Arizona Court.
