Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence police were dispatched to Zarco 66, 1415 W. Sixth St., Friday for a domestic call. According to Sgt. Paul Fellers, a Zarco employee witnessed a woman pumping gas about 2 p.m. and said a man pulled her out of the car and threatened her with a knife. When police arrived, the man ran away but was caught. Adam Walker, 27, of Lawrence, was arrested on four warrants.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 21-year-old Lawrence woman reported a Ford Taurus and a Chevy Tahoe were criminally damaged Wednesday. Total estimated loss is valued at $2,200. The incident occurred between 11 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 2000 block of West Sixth Street.

Injury accidents

¢ Two people were taken to hospitals for injuries after a two- car accident at 8:43 a.m. Friday. According to the Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Office, William Anderson, 52, of Lawrence, was driving a 1997 Infinity north on U.S. Highway 24-40 when a 1999 Mercury Marquis driven by Kelly Shilling, 31, of Tonganoxie, was southbound and crossed the center line. According to witnesses, Anderson attempted to avoid the collision but was unable to do so. Both vehicles came to rest on the east side of the road, having suffered extensive damage. Anderson was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital by Leavenworth County EMS for non-life threatening injuries. According to LMH officials, Anderson was transported to a Kansas City hospital. His condition was unavailable. Shilling was transported by air ambulance to Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka with serious injuries. She was reported to be in satisfactory condition. The accident is under investigation.
