Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 23-year-old Baldwin City man reported an auto burglary and theft to Lawrence police on Wednesday. Items reported stolen include $1,200 in cash, a JVC audio face plate and Oakley sunglasses. The glove compartment of the vehicle was reportedly damaged. The total estimated loss is $1,500. The incident occurred between 7:30 p.m. and midnight Tuesday in the 2000 block of Tennessee Street.

¢ A 23-year-old Lawrence woman reported the theft of several electronic items to Lawrence police on Monday. Items reported stolen include a Canon digital camera, a Toshiba laptop computer, a Sony digital camera, a Fender bass guitar and an Epiphone bass guitar. The total estimated loss is valued at $2,400. The theft occurred between 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Monday in the 2100 block of West 26th Street.

¢ A 2006 red Chevrolet Aveo was reported damaged Jan. 16. A 32-year-old Lawrence woman reported the incident occurred between 7:10 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. Jan. 14 in the 1900 block of Louisiana Street. The total estimated loss is $1,500.

¢ A 61-year-old Topeka man reported a Dell Inspiron 1100 laptop computer valued at $1,650 was stolen. He reported the theft occurred between 6 p.m. Dec. 15 and 3 p.m. Jan. 11 in the 2700 block of Grand Circle.

¢ The Kansas University Public Safety Office reported the theft of traveler’s checks from a room in McCollum Hall. The estimated loss is $1,750. The theft reportedly occurred between 5 p.m. Jan. 17 and 9 a.m. Jan. 18.
