Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence police arrested a 13-year-old boy Wednesday afternoon after an altercation downtown. Police were called to the 700 block of Massachusetts Street at 2:12 p.m. in response to a reported battery. According to a police report, a 13-year-old boy reportedly struck a 14-year-old Lawrence boy and caused him to fall into a trash receptacle. The victim was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital for treatment of a head injury. The victim’s condition was unknown Wednesday night. Further details were unavailable.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 22-year-old Lawrence woman reported a burglary and theft to Lawrence police Monday. A 42-inch Westinghouse plasma TV, a 19-inch Westinghouse LCD TV and a Sony PlayStation 2 were items reported stolen. The total estimated loss is $1,962. The crime occurred between 8 a.m. Dec. 14 and 5 p.m. Dec. 16 in the 100 block of Indian Avenue.

¢ A 28-year-old Lawrence man reported a burglary and theft to Lawrence police Sunday. Items reported stolen include a Sony 46-inch TV and XBox 360 and controller. The total estimated loss is $3,910. The crime occurred between 6 p.m. Friday and 11:40 a.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of West 25th Court.

¢ Tools and household items were reported stolen to the Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday. A 34-year-old Leavenworth man reported the theft of two 50 CC dirt bikes, a computer hard drive and keyboard, a Milwaukee router and cordless drill. The total estimated loss is $4,500. The incident occurred between noon and 4:30 p.m. Monday near 19000 Springdale Road.
