Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical units responded to a gasoline spill at 6:18 p.m. Saturday at Kwik Shop, 845 Miss. Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical Capt. Joe Schaumburg estimated 20 gallons spilled from a Groendyke gasoline truck. Schaumburg said the driver of the truck was pumping gas into the tank and lost connection at ground level. Lawrence police assisted and Hazmat Response from Olathe cleaned up the spill.
