Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence police recovered a white Chrysler Sebring worth $12,700 Wednesday. The vehicle was stolen from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, 2233 W. 29th Terrace, according to a police report. The theft occurred between midnight Feb. 1 and 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Kansas University Public Safety Office reported a black backpack, a Hewlett-Packard laptop, and an Apple iPod were left on a KU bus and not retrieved Wednesday. The total estimated loss is valued at $2,090. The incident occurred about 12:50 p.m. in the 1400 block of Jayhawk Boulevard.

¢ An employee from The Eye Doctors, 737 Mass., reported the theft of five pairs of glasses Wednesday. Three pairs of Versace sunglasses and two pairs of Versace prescription glasses were stolen. The total estimated loss is valued at $1,222. The theft occurred between 1:30 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. Wednesday.

¢ An 18-year-old Lawrence woman reported the theft of $1,685 cash Monday. The theft occurred between 8 a.m. Feb. 1 and 4 p.m. Monday in the 1000 block of Jana Drive.
