Burglaries and thefts reported
¢ An Alvamar Golf Course employee reported a burglary and criminal damage at the business at 1800 Crossgate Drive. About $1,600 worth of alcohol and a 32-inch RCA television were stolen. Two glass windows were damaged. Total estimated loss is $2,929. The crime occurred between 5 p.m. Feb. 3 and 8:30 a.m. Feb. 4.
¢ A Quality Electric employee reported that more than $5,000 worth of copper wire was stolen last week from the business, 1011 E. 31st St. Rolls of solid, ground and stranded copper wire were stolen. A chain-link fence and Ford E 352 rear door were also reported damaged on the business premises. Total estimated loss is $6,449. The crime occurred between 7 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday.
¢ An employee of Trailridge Apartments, 2500 W. Sixth St., reported two dryer machine tops and $200 worth of coins were stolen from the complex Monday. The crime occurred between 5 p.m. Feb. 8 and 8:15 a.m. Monday. Total estimated loss is $2,200.
